LE COURS DE FRANÇAIS : MERCREDI 27 MAI 2015

We spent most of today French class reviewing few sounds that we learned this year : [ a ], [ i ], [ o ],
[ e ], and [ é ]. We did several exercises to support our understanding. Well done students !

The last 15 minutes of the class, we practiced the song "Bonjour,bonjour" and played a game (the 3 groups together).

No homework for next week, but you can always review the sounds,and  the verbs

See you next week for our last French class, we'll have a little end of school party with a song and goodies at the end of the class.

LE COURS DE FRANÇAIS : MERCREDI 20 MAI 2015

The French class started with the review of the sound [ oi ], and the review of  the prepositions and adverbs learned last week : devant, en haut, à droite, sous etc....Excellent work kids !
Then we spent most of the class working on few exercises :
- "Replacer un mot dans une phrase" (replace a word in a sentence)
-"L'alimentation" (The food we eat)
-"Discrimination visuelle, barre l'intrus"(Visual discrimination, cross the intruder), all copies are in the binder.
Toward the end of the class,  we practiced the song "Bonjour, bonjour".
Homework for Wednesday, May 27: practice the two stanzas of the song. Also, think of one sentence you will tell me next week : use the verb "être"/to be "Je suis(I am), or tu es (You are), or il/elle est (He/she is) + one of the preposition or adverb we learned last week."

LE COURS DE FRANÇAIS : MERCREDI 13 MAI 2015

The French class started with a little review of the sounds studied last week [ s ] and [ z ]. The students had a very good review : well done kids !
Afterward, we studied another new sound, " le son [ oi ]" lesson 19 of Français CP.

The class also studied :
en bas, en haut,  sur,  sous,  dans,  à côté de,  devant, derrière,  à gauche,  à droite. (copies in the binder)

Then we worked on a couple of exercises : "Découvrir la matière"/Discover the materiel (copy in the binder), also "La nourriture des animaux"/The animals and their food (copy in the binder), as well, we did  exercise 81 "Les transports" in "Ma Maternelle".

Homework for Wednesday, May 20: review the sound [ oi ], the prepositions, and the two stanzae highlighted of the song "Bonjour, bonjour".

The French class started with the review of the sounds [ ch ], [ j ]. Well done kids !
Then we carried on with two new sounds : [ s ] and [ z ], lessons 17
and 18 of   FRANÇAIS CP.

We started the French class with a review of the verbs "Être" et "Avoir", and the review of the sounds [ an ], [ in ], the students did pretty well.  Good job kids !
Afterward, we studied two new sounds : [ ch ], and [ j ] lessons 15 and 16 of  FrançaisCP.

We started the French class with the review of the verbs "Être" and "Avoir", we verbalized and constructed a short sentence with each verbs and the three first pronouns and an adjectif : Je suis, tu es, il/elle est- J'ai, tu as, il/elle a.
