Our Wednesday French class started with a review of the vocabulary in "First hundred words in French" from "Le salon" to "Au jardin public", the children memorized the vocabulary very well. Bravo kids ! We also reviewed "le jour"/day et "la nuit"/ night, the things we do during the day, and the things we do at night, what we see at daytime, and what we see at night : Le soleil..../La lune....The sun/The moon...
Afterward, we studied "Les sons "é" et "ê" "è", "Leçon 8"/Lesson 8 of Français CP
- "é" comme dans "bébé"/baby,
- "ê" "è"comme dans "tête"/head, "lèvre"/lip.
We did a couple of exercises to practice this new concept of the sound of a vowel.
The last 15 minutes of the class we played a game : "Vocabulon des petits"
Homework for Wednesday, November 12: practice the sounds "é" and "ê" "è" put the following words in the respective sound column ( two columns "é" , and "ê" "è").
fée, pêche, forêt, vélo, éponge, arête, poupée, zèbre, café, mère.
