The French class started with the review of the sounds [ p ] and [ b ], and the numbers : 1-30. Great job kids !
Then we studied "Les quatres saisons"/the 4 seasons, lesson 49 of Maternelle;

We also learned two new sounds - [ t ], and [ d ], lesson 6 of "Français CP" :

- tente/tent - drapeau/flag
- toit/roof - doigt/finger

- tigre/tiger - dame/lady
- tomate - dos/back
The class learned the vocabulary "Dans la salle de bain", and "Dans la chambre" of the book "First hundred words in French". We finished the book, that means that the children should know the vocabulary that we studied so far. We'll have a bit more practices, and reviews in class, and then the students we'll be, later, tested in class.
To finish the French class, the last ten minutes we played the children's favorite game : "Vocabulon des petits".
Homework for Wednesday, February 4: review the sounds [ t ], and [ d ], also review the vocabulary of "First hundred words in French" (Dans la salle de bain, and Dans la chambre), do the exercise on the seasons (copy in the binder "Je découpe et je colle les saisons dans l'ordre"/I cut and I glue the seasons in order.
